NEUDECOR is a high-end painting practice working with architects, interior designers, and discerning owners across Aotearoa. Every surface is treated as a finished material — primed, sanded, and laid down with the patience the building deserves.

Whole-home repaints, single rooms, ceilings, joinery, and trim. Low-VOC systems specified by paint chemistry, not just brand.

01 — Walk
Site visit & brief
A walk-through on site. We measure, photograph, and listen — a conversation about how you live in the room.
02 — Specify
Schedule & samples
A written specification with substrates, primers, top-coats, and durations. Sample boards reviewed on site against the existing light.
03 — Prep
Substrate & protection
Fillers, sanders, masking. 60% of the time on every job — and the reason the finish reads the way it does.
04 — Finish
Coats & walkthrough.
Coats laid in the right order, the right film thickness, the right cure window. A careful final walkthrough before sign-off.

Meet Peter
Hitchman.

Founder · Master Painter

Peter spent years on Auckland crews — commercial fit-outs, residential repaints, the full mix — before starting NEUDECOR. The decision was simple: he wanted the brief, the brush, and the final walk-through to be answered by the same person.

Every quote is his. Every site visit is his. Every final walkthrough is his. The result is a consistency you rarely find at this end of the trade — the same eye on the first coat of primer as on the last brushstroke of enamel.
